Aspirus, Inc. currently offers a Medical Assistant Student Internship Program
. This paid program is designed for students currently enrolled in their 2nd semester of a Medical Assistant program. The program will run from 8/3/2026 to 10/10/2026. Final date to receive applications is 7/13/2026.

This is a 10‑week program with flexible hours and up to 32 hours per week, paid internship opportunity to be completed during the final semester of a student’s MA program. It offers real‑world MA experience, participation in a variety of patient care activities in a clinic setting, and a potential job offer upon graduation. Participants will also attend learning events during the program.

• Administer and document ordered medications and injections with final documentation by CMA, RN, or Physician.
• Review appointment schedules, maintain timely flow of patients, greet patients, and prepare them for examination based on Physician request.
• Perform audiograms and visual testing.
• Communicate with patients via telephone calls, answer questions, advise patients with instructions from provider, and document all actions taken in the patient medical record.

• Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of the first semester of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check.
• Pre‑employment physical and drug screen.
