As an Overnight Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate care and support to our residents while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and peaceful environment throughout the night. Whether it's assisting a resident, offering reassurance, or helping prepare the community for a new day, your work matters.
What You'll Do- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care during overnight hours.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including toileting, dressing, grooming, and mobility support as needed.
- Perform routine safety, security, and wellness checks.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests.
- Observe, document, and communicate changes in resident condition or behavior.
- Assist with medication reminders according to community policies and state regulations.
- Complete overnight housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning duties.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
- Uphold resident dignity, privacy, and independence at all times.
- Communicate effectively with teammates during shift transitions.
- Follow all community policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- A positive attitude and a passion for serving seniors.
- Compassion, patience, and a strong desire to help others.
- Dependability and strong attendance.
- Ability to work independently and remain attentive throughout the overnight shift.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.
- Previous caregiving, assisted living, memory care, CBRF, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items consistent with caregiving responsibilities.
- Ability to respond quickly to resident needs and emergency situations.
