** The UW-Stevens Point Counseling Center is seeking a Part-Time Mental Health therapist to provide short-term counseling, assessment and crises intervention to students experiencing personal, emotional, behavioral, academic or mental health concerns. This position is under the direct supervision of the Director of Counseling Center.##

** The UW-Stevens Point Counseling Center is currently staffed by 7 permanent clinicians including the Director. Our primary function is to provide individual psychotherapy, group therapy, and crises response to UW-Stevens Point students and education and prevention programming to the campus  are a Counseling Center that affirms diversity, condemns oppression in every form and encourages utilization of our services by all students.

To this end, we seek to provide a safe affirming environment for all.##
** Compensation:
** Mental Health Therapist part-time (15-20 hours per week)  hourly/non-exempt, university staff position. Well-qualified candidates can expect a starting hourly of $50 an hour, commensurate with the candidate’s education, related experience, and qualifications.##

* Required Qualifications:

*** Master’s degree in counseling, Clinical Social Work, or Marriage and Family therapy
* Current Wisconsin State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an LPC, LCSW or LMFT. Clinical supervision may be available for individuals working towards licensure.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively##

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Experience in higher education mental health setting
* Experience working with young adults
* Experience providing clinical care using teletherapy modalities
* Experience using electronic health records (EHR) systems
