Material Handler

Position Title:

Material Handler Wage: $17.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours:

6:30am - 5:00pm (Monday - Thursday, Half-Day on Friday) Join a growing team in Stevens Point, WI as a Material Handler and play a vital role in keeping production moving efficiently. In this hands-on position, you'll manage inventory, supply assembly lines with the right parts at the right time, support shipping and receiving operations, and help ensure products are delivered on schedule.

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes and placing orders in delivery area
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
• Deliver raw materials necessary for production to assembly lines and deliver finished goods to the warehouse
• Provide parts to assembly line
• Open boxes, crates, and other containers
• Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer
• Assist in counting of physical inventory
• Prepare parcels for shipping

• Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills
• Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills preferred
• Able to lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs
