Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical

Stevens Point, WI

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Day Shifts | 36 Hours Per Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Medical-Surgical unit serving ortho, general, urology, and ENT patient populations
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5 during day/PM shifts and 1:6–7 during night shifts
• Float to like units as needed within the facility system
• Participate in on-call rotation; minimum call-back commitment of 2 hours when called in from low census
• Accurately document all patient care activities using Epic EMR
• Adhere to all facility infection control and health policies, including applicable vaccination and masking requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC (no other providers accepted)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Orthopedic nursing experience
• At least 1 completed travel nursing assignment
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

• Experience working in a multi-level care environment including ICU, Step-Down, and Med-Surg settings
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, manage variable census situations, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with urology and ENT patient populations

• Guaranteed hours each week of the contract with call-back pay available when returning from low census on-call status
