Position Overview

RN Clinical Nurse, Night shift, Full‑time (7 p.m.–7 a.m.), Sign‑on Bonus eligible. Provide high‑quality, safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team in Georgia under the Wellstar Shared Governance Model.

• Conduct the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence‑based practice to individualize care.
• Provide relationship‑based, patient‑centered care, adapting delivery to cultural diversity and specific population characteristics.
• Give bedside shift reports and keep patients and relatives informed, focusing on patient goals.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality patient care, promoting the professional care delivery model.
• Demonstrate teamwork, collaboration, fiscal responsibility, and support recruitment and retention of all healthcare team members.
• Participate in performance improvement activities, research utilization, and shared governance at all system levels.
• Serve as preceptor/mentor for professional nurses, staff, or students to develop future workforce.
• Promote evidence‑based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement, including value analysis of patient care products.
• Uphold all health‑care system policies, standards, and regulatory requirements, including TJC Patient Safety Goals.
• Collect data, pose relevant clinical questions, and plan care across the continuum during direct patient care.
• Contribute to the development of protocols and procedures in collaboration with care managers and team members.

• Education:
  
  Associate’s degree in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• License: RN – Regular Nurse (single state) or RN‑COMPACT – RN (multi‑state compact).
• Professional
  
  Experience:
  
  Minimum 5 years RN experience with direct patient care (required).
