Conducts research experiments with limited supervision. Provides technical support with some degree of independence for research projects and/or labs under moderate supervision.
Key Job Responsibilities- Performs lab and/or field test materials and samples according to established research requirements and specifications. Performs lab or field tests
- Inspects and maintains equipment, supplies, inventory, and facility spaces
- Collects data and monitors test results according to established research requirements and specifications
- May assist with literature reviews and/or report writing
- Reviews data to summarize results for presentations or reporting
The College of Natural Resources is one of the largest comprehensive natural resources undergraduate programs in North America. The strength of our program is its interdisciplinary approach and emphasis on hands-on experiences. The College of Natural Resources has 1,585 undergraduates, 50 graduate students, and over 120 faculty and staff. It is home to disciplines in Environment and Society, Fisheries and Water Resources, Forestry, Soil and Waste Resources, Wildlife Ecology, and the Department of Paper Science and Chemical Engineering.

The Research Technician is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt, university staff temporary position.
