Line​/Grill Cook II at PJ's

Our PJ's team is looking to add a Full-time Line/Grill Cook II to our culinary department. We are looking for people like you who are curious, hardworking, and always looking to improve.

Our friendly team at Sentry World-PJ's is looking for a Line/Grill Cook for our culinary team and we want you to join us.

• Prepare foods specific to prescribed recipes.
• Responsible for setting up food preparation lines including grill, saute, Fry cook, desert, pastry and salad lines.
• Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare menu items.
• Prepare a variety of foods, meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and cold food items.
• Arrange sauces and supplementary garnishes for allocated station.
• Serve menu items compliant with established standards.

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Previous cooking experience in a restaurant facility
• Ability to obtain the State Food Handlers Certification
• Ability to prepare food from recipes, commensurate with incumbent's skill level
• Self-motivated
• Ability to multi-task and ability to follow written or verbal instructions
• Ability to operate a wood fired grill
• Hours for this position may require working at night and on weekends and holidays
