Hours for this job are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 5 pm and a Saturday rotation from 7:30 am until noon.

Starting wage range is typically $20-25/hr and varies by experience level.

As a Parts Representative you have the important responsibility to respond to customers with a sense of urgency, taking ownership of their parts needs, and providing a solution in a timely, accurate manner.

• Make sure customers are greeted upon arrival to the department and over the phone, using their name as appropriate, waiting on them promptly, and always thanking them for their business.
• Ask appropriate questions to determine the best solution to the customers’ parts need. Use all available resources to find the best solution.
• Work to build a solid business relationship with customers and be a resource for questions.
• Communicate marketing programs to customers, promoting the R&S value.
• Assist Technicians and other Service personnel in retrieving parts, recognizing that shop orders are equally important to the profitability of the Parts department.
• Retrieve parts from inventory, transfer in from another store, or order as needed.
• Generate an invoice, accept payment and accurately process the transaction.
• Coordinate shipments incoming and outbound from the dealership.
• Go through parts orders as they arrive and put them away or match them with orders.
• Contact customers and notify them when orders are in.
• Face, stock and dust merchandise on the showroom floor on a daily basis to ensure eye-catching displays.
• Create seasonal merchandising displays to promote sales.
• Share in the responsibility of after-hours calls with other parts department staff.
• Refer leads on other sales opportunities to R&S staff as appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, neat and safe parts area, observing safety guidelines at all times.
• Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of all parts on hand, participate in annual physical inventory process as requested.
• Stay up-to-date on equipment and market trends through attending training, product bulletins and other resources.
• Complete all related paperwork in a timely, efficient manner.
• Present a positive, professional image in dress and conduct at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Three plus years of previously related experience required.
• Knowledge of farm equipment required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with people from all levels of the organization, and the general public as well.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
• Ability to use a computer and current software programs required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving history.
