Position: Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Stevens Point, WI 54482

Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organizational and time-management skills while establishing retailer relationships. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. On occasion you may work with products from other companies in the stores that you service.

  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $13.00-$15.00 per hour depending on your skills and experience.
  • Paid training delivered through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.
  • Eligible part-time employees receive voluntary benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
  • This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours are between 10-17 hours per week.
  • Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
  • Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day engagement:
    Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Use technology for communication, reporting time, giving feedback, and completing required surveys. Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
  • Holiday support:
    During and around holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, expect additional days and extended hours. On occasions like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day, you may be required to work on the holiday itself, which may include the weekend.
  • Department resets:
    Participate in installations and various tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. You will typically receive notice at least two weeks in advance for remodel assignments and may need to work evenings or weekends.
  • Team collaboration:
    As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you support other merchandisers in the team as needed within your territories.
Physical Requirements

This physically demanding job requires a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.

Basic

Qualifications
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Physical capability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
