Position Title: FFWS Peer Mentor

Job SummaryThe Fund for WI Scholars (FFWS) Student Peer Mentor serves as a campus contact person for FFWS grant recipients, emphasizing First‑Year Grant Recipients and New Transfer Grant Recipients. Under the direct supervision of the FFWS Peer Mentor Program Supervisor, duties include coordinating support and resources for scholars.
Key Responsibilities- Organize information, materials, and scholar community‑building activities.
- Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Maintain a positive attitude toward the college experience.
- Be responsible and reliable.
- Commit to working an average of 5 hours per week.
- Junior or Senior standing preferred;
Sophomore candidates may be considered. - Have received the FFWS grant continuously since the first semester at UWSP.
- Prior active involvement in the FFWS Peer Mentor Program preferred.
- Good academic standing with a GPA of 2.0 (2.5 or higher preferred).
