Full-time Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) – Join our dedicated equine practice in Stillwater, Minnesota, providing comprehensive ambulatory services and exceptional client support.
Position OverviewAs a Care Coordinator, you will perform a range of administrative and customer‑service tasks to support the clinic’s operations. You will handle client interactions in‑person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations, manage lobby flow, schedule appointments, handle medical emergencies, and maintain accurate data records using practice‑management software.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service in‑person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations.
- Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments.
- Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being.
- Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products.
- Input and manage data in practice‑management software, including billing and accounts.
- Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records.
- Reconcile cash drawer and perform end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions.
- High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and ability to organize files and records.
- Excellent customer service skills and experience providing courteous and prompt assistance.
- Accurate cash handling and cashiering abilities.
- Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work at a keyboard or workstation for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, and lifting animals up to 50 pounds.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- CSR experience in a Veterinary Equine hospital.
- Four 10‑hour shifts and 1 to 2 Saturdays per month from 8 am‑12 pm.
