Service Advisor

The Service Advisor is the primary liaison between customers and the service department. This role ensures clear communication, accurate repair estimates, and a positive experience throughout the service process.

Essential Functions /

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and document vehicle concerns.
• Create repair orders and estimate repairs.
• Communicate technician findings and recommend services.
• Obtain approvals and maintain clear communication with customers.
• Handle phone calls, scheduling, and appointment management.
• Review MPI results with customers.
• Coordinate with Parts and Technicians on repair timelines.
• Close repair orders and review final invoices.
• Support warranty documentation as needed.
• Maintain CSI expectations and follow-up processes.

Additional Responsibilities:

Assist with customer transportation and rental arrangements.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years service advisor experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to learn DMS and scheduling systems.
• Automotive knowledge preferred.

Work Environment:

Service drive and office environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for long periods
• Customer interaction throughout the day

Schedule:

Full-time; includes Saturdays.

• CSI Scores
• RO Accuracy
• Sales per RO
• Follow-Up Completion

Compensation:

• $48,000–$180,000+/yr (based on experience and performance)
