St. Croix Preparatory Academy Middle School is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Middle School Physical Education & Health Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide engaging, standards-based instruction aligned to Minnesota Academic Standards in Physical Education and Health, while fostering lifelong wellness, teamwork, and healthy decision‑making skills.
Candidates must be committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Health.
- Active and current state of MN PE and Health teaching license.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Experience preferred with:
- Teaching PE in a middle school setting.
- College preparatory rigor in a middle school setting.
- A classical model of education or a liberal arts college education.
- Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about working with middle schoolers and creating a positive learning environment.
