Job Overview

The Stillwater Area Public School District invites application for the position of 6.0 Special Education Paraprofessional at Rutherford Elementary. This role provides instructional and behavioral support for students with special needs. Transferring/lifting of students may be required. Preferred candidate will have experience working with special needs students.

Responsibilities

Provide instructional and behavioral support to students with special needs; assist with daily activities including transferring and lifting.

Requirements

To be considered Highly Qualified within 10 days of first day of work you must have one of the following:

A Bachelor's Degree
An Associate's Degree
60+ credits of post-secondary education
A passing score on the Para Pro Exam

Submit documentation (transcripts, exam report) to support qualifications.

Hours & Salary

Hours per day: 6.0 hours, Monday-Friday (student contact days). Salary: starting rate $21.00 per hour.
