Adult Basic Education Teacher
Stillwater Area Public Schools are currently seeking an Adult Basic Education (ABE) Teacher. The ABE teacher plans and delivers instruction to adult learners who want to improve their English language, reading, writing, or math skills in preparation for the GED test, employment or post-secondary education. The teacher also assesses student progress to guide instruction and establishes individual learning plans and appropriate curriculum for adult students of varying abilities.

Schedule:
- Early Childhood Family Center - 1111 Holcombe Street S, Stillwater, MN 55082, Monday-Friday: 9:30-12:00 PM
- Oakland Middle School - 820 Manning Ave N, Lake Elmo, MN 55042, Tuesday and Thursday: 4:00-7:00 PM
Qualifications:
- A current Minnesota teaching license is required
- Experience teaching adults and working in a team instruction environment is preferred
- Applicants must have the ability to relate well to adults from a variety of cultural backgrounds and with varying skill levels in reading, writing and math

Salary/Wage Information:
As per the SCEA Master Contract, $37.62-$52.25 is the hourly/salary range. See attached SCEA Contract for more information.
