Coaching Positions
Asst. Speech Coach
LOCATIONStillwater Area High School
PURPOSE OF THE ACTIVITY:To prepare students for competitions and performances. Develop lesson plans and training sessions to enhance students' speech skills. Provide constructive feedback to students to improve their performance
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:- Connection to a high school community
- Communicate with high school students
- Be supportive to high school students
- Education degree and/or counseling
- Previous speech coaching experience preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- A. Planning and leading practice sessions
- B. Creating strategies to prepare/lead students for competitions
- C. Provide feedback and coaching at practices/competitions
- D. Follow District #834 Code of Ethics for Advisors.
Weeks: 18 (7.5 hours per week)
After School – As assigned by the head speech coach
