The Process Scientist I supports the Critical Raw Materials team responsible for manufacturing liquid components used in in‑vitro diagnostic (IVD) products. These immune‑system-based reagents (antibodies, antigens, serum proteins) are produced, tested, and prepared for use on diagnostic analyzers. This role performs material processing, reagent formulation, in‑process testing, and final quality control for both internal products and a small OEM product line.

Responsibilities:

+ Perform material processing and reagent formulation for bulk intermediates and components

+ Support production of serum proteins and OEM liquid products

+ Determine reprocessing needs for calibrators, controls, and antibodies with guidance

+ Maintain Good Laboratory Practices and contribute to lab/equipment upkeep

+ Conduct in‑process testing and final QC for serum protein products following established procedures

+ Assign calibrator values and control ranges to optimize kit performance

+ Monitor internal control supplies and manufacture new controls as needed

+ Bachelors degree in Biology or Chemistry or Biochemistry

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stillwater, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
