Position: Wealth Management Client Associate: Grow Client Relationships

What is the opportunity

As a Client Associate / Registered Client Associate, you will become a trusted resource to clients, advisors and the branch. Use your administrative and operational skills to help advisors manage and grow their business while maintaining a client‑first approach, meeting compliance standards, researching and resolving problems, onboarding new accounts, processing and maintaining account records, implementing technology changes, and preparing correspondence in a fast‑paced, professional and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients by assisting them and answering account questions.
  • Take initiative to handle account inquiries and customer needs and, when appropriate, elevate them to financial advisors.
  • Adhere to compliance standards by obtaining and maintaining appropriate account documentation and communicating with clients about missing items.
  • Facilitate the transfer of funds and securities, complete trades in client accounts, and process checks, wires, and ACH transactions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with RBC’s Code of Conduct.
Qualifications

Must‑have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job‑related experience.
  • Strong soft skills, including verbal and written communication, people skills, organization, and client service.
  • Attention to detail and a mindset focused on improving advisor efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) licenses, or the willingness to obtain required licenses within 12 months of hire.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment.

Nice‑to‑have

  • Current FINRA registrations.
  • Experience in financial services.

Compensation

Registered Client Associate: $45,000 – $70,000 (based on experience, skills, registration status, market conditions, and business needs).

Client Associate: $40,000 – $60,000 (dependent on similar factors).

Additional compensation through RBC’s discretionary variable program may increase total compensation when business and individual performance targets are met.
