The Human Resources Manager is a valued member of the City of Stillwater's Senior Leadership Team, providing leadership and professional expertise in the planning, administration, and coordination of the City's Human Resources Division. This position works collaboratively with the City Administrator, department leaders, and employees to support organizational goals through effective human resource programs, policies, and services. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the administration and oversight of a broad range of human resource functions, including labor relations, classification and compensation, recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, policy and procedure development, training and professional development, employee wellness initiatives, HR records and systems management, and strategic workforce planning.
The position also ensures compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
