Job Description
Primary role and responsibility of the Security Officer is to protect people, property, information, and the reputation of Health Partners, Hudson Hospital, and the Valley Region's hospitals and clinics. Represent Health Partners in a courteous, professional manner that conveys a positive image of the organization and fosters cooperation and support with staff, patients, visitors, and external agencies. Respond to a wide variety of routine public service and emergency support calls requiring problem‑solving techniques, judgment, verbal de‑escalation, and appropriate use of force.
Ability to independently manage work and complete duties outlined in this job description and other assigned duties.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 2 years previous experience in:
- Security, law enforcement or public safety
- Customer service
- Military service
- 2‑ or 4‑year degree in Security/Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice/Social science or a human services related field; or currently in a related degree program.
