Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP) Supported Employment Team

Responsibilities

  • Train and assist persons served to perform tasks efficiently.
  • Ensure quality and production levels are met.
  • Track and record individual work production.
  • Provide support services to four to eight people.
  • Implement goals based on each individual's ability to carry out training objectives.
  • Regularly communicate with team members.
  • Supervise persons served while working and during break times.
  • Provide transportation services as needed. Rise's vehicle may be provided.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with persons with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
  • Hardworking, flexible, and able to work collaboratively with a team (required).
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Good customer service skills and ability to deescalate difficult situations.
  • Compliance with and successful completion of a Department of Human Services background check (Rule 11), which may include fingerprinting.
  • Valid driver license required.
  • Pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds daily.
