Payroll Clerk Duration: 3+ Months Shift Timing:
Regular Hours Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour on w2 without benefits

Job Description:
Respond to payroll-related inquiries, conduct research as needed, and provide accurate and timely information to employees and departments. Communicate payroll issues, discrepancies, and concerns to management promptly and professionally. Collaborate with HR Benefits, Payroll, IT, HR Information Management, Accounting, and other departments to resolve payroll-related matters. Provide professional, courteous customer service to employees and departments while supporting payroll staff with daily processing needs.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation for payroll communications, adjustments, transactions, and employee record changes. Ensure all required supporting documentation is properly organized, maintained, and available for payroll processing and audit purposes. Skills &
Qualifications:
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Professional communication skills with the ability to interact respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
Ability to identify when additional documentation, information, or clarification is required. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to recognize and resolve discrepancies. Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn and use payroll, HR, and administrative systems. Knowledge of payroll processing procedures, including payroll adjustments, employee records, and supporting documentation.
Experience with or knowledge of Banner HR EPAFs and employee record maintenance. General knowledge of Payroll Services forms, procedures, and requirements. Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and payroll information. Ability to meet payroll deadlines and maintain accurate, timely, and complete records.
