We are looking for an Administrative Technician to work at The Lincoln Regional Center – Whitehall Campus. In this role you will be an integral part of our Division of Behavioral Health and provide critical support at Lincoln Regional Center – Whitehall.

As an Administrative Specialist you will:
  • Provide administrative and technical support for agency programs, operations, boards, commissions, and leadership teams
  • Research, collect, compile, and maintain information, records, reports, and documentation for administrative, operational, and compliance purposes
  • Prepare reports, presentations, charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and other materials using database and office software applications
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, conferences, agendas, and official meeting records, including recording minutes and preparing documentation
  • Monitor projects, program activities, expenditures, deadlines, and workflow processes to support operational goals and process improvement initiatives
  • Provide customer service, technical assistance, software support, training, and guidance to staff, stakeholders, and end users regarding agency procedures and systems
  • Assist with administrative service functions including budgeting, grants, personnel support, public relations, compliance reviews, and interagency communications while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Minimum Qualifications

Coursework, training, or experience related to research, presentation, or publication in an area related to the programs or functions of the employing agency; business administration; accounting; customer service; and/or technical support work, including use of computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Suite or Google Docs
  • Experience with client record systems and data‑entry platforms
  • Prior knowledge of entering insurance information
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and process large amounts of information
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions in a professional setting
Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Compensation

Starting pay is $18.548 per hour.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of:
  • Administrative and office processes and procedures and associated computer applications such as word processing, file management, record keeping, and database management; customer service processes and principles; specialized processes and terminology associated with assigned work.
Skill in:
  • Active listening; asking questions; understanding instructions; using word processing; creating spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and reports; managing time, schedules, and priorities; monitoring and assessing program performance; applying critical thinking techniques.
Ability to:
  • Formulate and recommend alternative courses of action; communicate and exchange information and ideas with others; interpret and apply policies, procedures, and regulations; track and monitor information; retrieve information from a variety of sources; maintain confidential records.
