Part-Time Receptionist

The Greer County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-service-oriented individual to serve as our Part‑Time Receptionist. This position is often the first point of contact for citizens visiting or calling the Sheriff’s Office and plays an important role in providing exceptional public service while supporting the daily operations of the office.

• Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
• Receive, process, and distribute incoming mail and documents.
• Assist deputies and administrative staff with clerical duties.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be dependable, trustworthy, and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to successfully pass a background investigation.

This is a part‑time position with a fluctuating work schedule.
