DEPARTMENT

PURPOSE:

The College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology contributes to the mission to secure philanthropic support for Oklahoma State University through meaningful donor engagement and strategic fundraising partnerships.
PRIMARY

PURPOSE:

Build long-term philanthropic partnerships that advance the mission and strategic initiatives of the College of Engineering, Architecture & Technology and other OSU colleges and initiatives by securing major gifts through personalized donor engagement,fundraisingand stewardship strategies.
KEY AREAS OF FOCUS:
Primary Responsibility Major Gift Fundraising and Portfolio Management(60%)

• Solicit and secure major gifts to OSUF with a focus on gifts of $50,000+
• Manage a portfolio of 60-80 major gift prospects affinity for OSU
• Secure 150+ donor visits annually
• Complete 10+ major gift solicitations annually (goal to close a minimum of 60% of solicitations at MG $50K+)
• Responsible for annual production goal of $750k+
• Maintainaccuratedonor records and uphold data best practices in OSUF CRM

Primary Responsibility Donor Engagement and Stewardship(20%)

• Participate with strategicassistancefor college or unit specific donor stewardship or key engagement events
• Develop and execute established stewardship strategies in partnership with Constituent Relations Associate

Campus Engagement:
Build strong relationships with academic leadership, faculty and staff across the OSU System, focusing on School/Center relationships in the College of Engineering, Architecture & Technology (10%)

• Serve as the point person and subject matter expert for multiple Schools/Department within the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology
• Build partnerships with each School Head or Director andidentifyfundraising priorities for the area.
• Develop philanthropic strategies that advance the key priorities and mission for each School or Center.
• Strategize and contribute to the development of materials for prospective donorsidentifyingand promoting funding needs and priorities of the assigned Schools/Center.
• Staff campus partner advisory board meetings and selectspecial events, serving as a liaison between the campus and the OSU Foundation. Provide information and reporting as needed for meetings and events in this liaison role for campus partners and alumni volunteers.

Primary Responsibility Team and Organizational Contribution(10%)

• Collaborate effectively with other colleges and units to increase donor support

JOB COMPETENCIES AND

EXPERIENCE:


Education & Certifications-

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing and communications, nonprofit management, humanities, or relatedfieldsrequired.

Experience-

• Minimumof 4-5 years in fundraising, development,major gifts,or relevant professional experience required.
• Experience in a higher education setting preferred.
• Fundraising and donor management software experience desired.
• Provensenseof humor and ability to have fun!
