The Robert M. Kerr Food & Agricultural Products Center (FAPC), located at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Okla., provides applied research, technical services and training to food and agricultural processors. FAPC supports product development, food safety, commercialization and scale-up for businesses across Oklahoma and beyond.
RoleFAPC is seeking a Program Manager for Value-Added Dairy Products to lead applied dairy processing initiatives within the center’s Food Processing Center and modernization efforts.
This full-time, on-site position includes:
- Managing value‑added dairy product development and technical assistance projects
- Providing in‑plant support and process guidance to dairy processors
- Supporting food safety, regulatory compliance and best practices
- Leading workshops and training programs for dairy industry stakeholders
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support commercialization and scale‑up
The position works directly with industry partners and contributes to state‑supported efforts to strengthen Oklahoma’s dairy and food processing infrastructure.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science, Food Science or related field (master’s preferred)
- Minimum five years of dairy manufacturing or food processing experience
- Experience in product development, food safety systems and regulatory compliance
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Ability to work directly with industry partners in applied settings
