Position: E&C Project Manager Senior/Staff (Project Execution, Power Innovation-East)

Job Summary

As a Project Manager Senior/Staff at Williams, you will lead multiple large‑scale power infrastructure projects from concept through completion. Your role requires technical mastery, strategic vision, and the ability to deliver results that directly impact business performance. You will drive strategic decisions, coordinate across engineering, procurement and construction partners, and prepare executive‑level updates that influence organizational priorities.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Lead a team to implement project plans or programs with significant complexity to achieve objectives, coordinating with internal and external partners.
  • Manage power infrastructure projects from concept through completion, with accountability for scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Apply engineering and construction standards to design and integrate power generation systems, high‑voltage technologies, and control systems.
  • Align project objectives with corporate strategy, evaluate economic impacts, and deliver solutions that maximize reliability and profitability.
  • Build trust for seamless coordination with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams.
  • Anticipate risks, propose forward‑thinking alternatives, and make decisive calls to resolve technical, contractual, and regulatory challenges.
  • Set up core project teams to facilitate achievement of project objectives.
  • Coordinate key functions with technical resources under the Project Life Cycle guidance.
  • Develop and implement project reports, presentations, schedules, and costing forecasts.
  • Present recommendations supported by sound engineering and operational efficiency that support reliability targets and reduce risks.
  • Prepare, review, and approve requests for proposals, evaluation, and contractor selection.
  • Understand the economic impact of the project and drive solutions.
  • Develop optimum project solutions that improve economic profit over the life of the project.
  • Run moderate‑to‑large projects with high quality and focus on business partners.
  • Lead project teams and contractors; be accountable for producing results and meeting deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Required:

    Bachelor’s degree and minimum 15 years’ experience in oil and gas engineering or project management (Senior) or 10 years (Staff).
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and a master’s degree in business, project management or engineering management; PMP, PE, and Microsoft Specialist Project Certification (MS). Additional preference for Microsoft Project Certification and experience with EPC in Power Generation/Data Centers.
Shift, Work Hours, and Travel Requirements

Must be willing to travel up to 50%.

Other Requirements
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; safety as the utmost priority.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills.
  • Solid understanding of PLC/Stage‑Gate processes and extensive experience with facility construction or operations in the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience in design, construction, and commissioning power generation systems (grid‑connected or islanded plants), substations, and high‑voltage electrical distribution systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent project controls tools.
  • Electrical Engineering degree, Microsoft Project Certification, and experience with EPC in Power Generation/Data Centers preferred.
