Environmental Specialist IV
Williams is seeking an Environmental Specialist IV with functional and technical expertise in air, water, and/or waste. The role will manage projects and programs of moderate complexity.
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and provide guidance on environmental processes and policies.
- Assess environmental risk, recommend actions, and participate or run approved courses of action, including regulatory documentation.
- Participate in environmental project planning and implementation, including scheduling, cost estimating, preparation of environmental impact assessments and reporting.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to others.
- Prepare and submit applications for environmental permits, renewals, approvals, variances, and other authorizations; coordinate with company partners.
- Perform environmental compliance audits and due diligence investigations as needed.
- Identify environmental training needs and provide training.
- Develop, recommend, and implement improvements for systems and practices in air, water, waste management, and remediation activities for assigned areas.
- Prepare and submit all required compliance reports and certifications; maintain documentation related to environmental compliance programs.
- Develop relationships between Williams and regulatory agencies.
- Interpret applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations and ensure compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum eight (8) years of environmental experience.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Safety as the utmost priority.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills.
