Equipment Specialist
Provide product configuration services for manufacturing operations and processes to meet business needs and requirements. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.
Qualifications- Experience with aircraft systems, maintenance, and ground support equipment for air refueling platforms.
- Knowledge of technical data analysis, providing recommendations for improvements to equipment and processes.
- Ability to conduct equipment testing, troubleshooting, and repair in aerospace environments.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Secret clearance.
- High‑school diploma or GED.
- Experience with aircraft systems, components, and technical data, including maintenance manuals, technical orders, and schematics.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, Air Force standards, and related safety protocols.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and corrective action processes for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) or equivalent Military Mechanic Certification.
- Top Secret clearance (optional).
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
Secret clearance is required.
Salary range: $77,500.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary determined by factors including location, education, skills, experience, and contract‑specific affordability.
