Job Responsibilities- Maintain compliance standards through the review and completion of various tasks, including processing demographic information and managing mail and shipments.
- Assist the team with special projects and forward special requests for customers.
- Work closely with leadership to research and reconcile problems that arise in the department.
- Participate in meetings and represent the area on committees and project teams.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for management and staff.
- Commit to the Performance Based Organization (PBO) & Easy to Do Business with (ETDBW) philosophy.
- Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement initiatives.
- Ensure integrity of data and information.
- Perform quality control functions.
- Update information on accounts in the Loan Servicing and/or Originations systems.
- Perform other tasks related to resolving customer needs.
- Maintain accounts and reports regarding the quality and compliance processes and procedures.
- Provide feedback regarding performance observations and recommend resolution/training for identified performance shortfalls.
- Research and correct issues within the designated time period as per department standards.
Employment and continued employment are contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a favorable clearance.
Must reside in the United States and be a United States citizen.
Must not be delinquent or in default with any federal debt.
Final suitability determination is the sole discretion of the Department of Education.
EducationAssociate’s degree preferred.
Experience- 2 years of customer service experience and/or general office experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Loan Servicing and/or Originations systems preferred.

Starting pay for this role is $16.50 per hour.
