Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with experience in general, vascular, OB, and echo ultrasound for a 13-week travel assignment.
Responsibilities- Hospital-based ultrasound department
- Performs a wide variety of ultrasound exams including general, vascular, OB, abdominal, small parts, and echocardiography
- Works independently without another technologist on shift
- Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- Friday call shift from 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM
- Technologist works solo on shift and is expected to handle all ultrasound modalities independently
- Current BLS and ARDMS certification required
- Proficiency in OB, general, echo, abdominal, small parts, and vascular ultrasound is required
- Must be comfortable working independently and managing a varied ultrasound caseload
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- License required if applicable
