About This Position
Provide individual and group counseling, evaluation and assessment for university students with alcohol and substance abuse issues.
Provide general counseling of students as needed. The staff member will perform administrative duties, provide emergency/crisis intervention, provide consultation to members of the university community, provide educational outreach programs, and periodically supervise practicum and intern graduate students.
Required Qualifications- Master's degree in Psychology, counseling or a related field (degree must be conferred on or before the agreed‑upon start date)
- Two years related experience in alcohol and substance abuse counseling in outpatient clinical settings either through an educational degree program or professional work
Eligibility for Oklahoma Alcohol and Drug Counselor licensure, with the ability to obtain licensure within two years of employment.
Preferred Qualifications- Ph.D./Ed.D. in Psychology, counseling or a related field
- One year related experience in a university counseling center
Oklahoma license eligible as a psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist. License must be obtained prior to hire and maintained throughout employment.

Work schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am‑5:00pm with occasional evenings and weekends depending on staffing needs of the department.
Appointment: permanent 10‑month term (August 1 – May 31).
Salary range: $57,500 – $72,000.
