Epic Analyst – IT Care Delivery Applications
Position may be filled as an Epic Application Analyst Level I, II, or III based on education, experience, and qualifications. The role is remote and limited to residents of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Texas who live and work full‑time in those states or will relocate prior to starting employment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day‑to‑day technical support to end users, troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and resolving system errors to maintain uninterrupted use of the EHR system.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure stability and security.
- Participate in testing and validation activities for system changes, enhancements, and upgrades following required change‑management processes.
- Configure and customize the EHR system to meet the specific needs and workflows of providers and organizations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—IT, clinicians, administrators, vendors—to support EHR initiatives and projects and facilitate communication and coordination.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, user procedures, and support issues to support knowledge transfer.
- Build strong relationships with core customer base (e.g., nurses, physicians, revenue cycle staff) and facility leadership.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 0–3years of applicable IT or healthcare experience.
- Epic certification required within three months of class completion or six months from hire.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3–5years of applicable IT or healthcare experience.
- Epic implementation experience preferred.
- Epic certification in the specified area required; multiple Epic certifications preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5or more years of applicable IT or healthcare experience.
- Multiple Epic implementation experiences preferred.
- Certification in one or more Epic applications required.
- Analytical, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within teams.
- Problem‑solving skills and understanding of customer needs.
- Knowledge of healthcare business processes, technology, workflows, and terminology.
- Proficiency with desktop tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
