Building Maintenance Worker; Parks

121-26 Building Maintenance Worker (Parks):Provide janitorial and a variety of technical duties related to the care, maintenance, repair and cleaning of public parks and grounds as assigned. Must be available to work afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays. Clean and maintain public park grounds including clean and sanitize restrooms, clean drinking fountains, tables, walls, ice and snow removal from sidewalks to provide safe access to pedestrians, move and arrange furniture and equipment and set up for events, identify and report maintenance needs in assigned parks, buildings and facilities.

Requirements:Training or experience in janitorial and minor maintenance service, preferred, a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.

Schedule: 29 hours per week.
This schedule is non-negotiable. A City of Stillwater application is required for consideration. Hours may vary and may include afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays to accommodate special events.

Starting rate: $15.08 per hour Close date: 10/28/26
