Electronics Assembler

This position is responsible for assembling printed circuit boards, cables, subassemblies, or panels per drawings and work guides/instructions using a variety of tools and equipment in accordance with FES, customer, qualify, and safety requirements.

• Performs assembly tasks using hand and power tools in a detailed, consistent manner as required by production drawings, work instructions and/or oral directions.
• Reads, understands, and works from Engineering Drawings, Wiring Diagrams, and Work Instructions for building electronic assemblies.
• Operates equipment, such as X-Ray machine, computers, lead formers, board separator, terminal press, Scheulinger (wire stripper), aqueous cleaner, and soldering irons.

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to learn to read drawings.
• Ability to learn to solder.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Must be a U.S. Person (United States citizen or have permanent resident status in the United States. No sponsorship).
• Normal electronics manufacturing environment.
• Expected hours 7:00am - 3:30pm.

• Sitting for long periods of time.
• Occasional lifting (up to 30 pounds).
• Ability to distinguish color.
• Ability to see details at close range.
