Role OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented NAP Process Engineer 1 to join our team. This entry‑level role is suitable for recent graduates or individuals with up to 5 years of engineering experience. The NAP Process Engineer 1 will assist in the design and development of new production lines, suggest enhancements such as jigs, and focus on improving production line efficiency, quality, and ergonomics.
Additionally, this role is responsible for defining production line processes and coordinating effectively between production groups. Document control is a crucial aspect of this position to ensure accurate records and seamless communication.
- Production Line Improvement:
- Assist in setting up production lines and suggesting jigs to enhance efficiency.
- Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment.
- Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods.
- Apply continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost‑effectiveness.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing.
- Troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes.
- Review product designs for manufacturability or completeness.
- Training and Development:
- Train production personnel in new or existing equipment design.
- Collaborate with teams to identify ergonomic improvements and ensure a safe working environment.
- Document Control:
- Maintain document control by accurately recording process changes, updates, and revisions.
- Communication:
- Coordinate between production groups to streamline operations and optimize workflow.
- Ensure transparent communication between management and employees regarding company policies, decisions, and changes.
- Professional Development:
- Read current literature, talk with colleagues, participate in educational programs, attend meetings, workshops, or professional organizations or conferences to keep abreast of developments in the manufacturing and HVACR field.
- Attend work as outlined in Employee Handbook and/or specified by the supervisor.
- Complete other tasks as directed by the supervisor.
- Comply with government regulations, laws, company policies, and company procedures.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 0 – 5 years of engineering experience; HVACR experience preferred but not required.
- Skills:
- Ability to use Microsoft product software.
- Talented, highly motivated individual with good engineering judgment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to guide and influence others.
- Basic computer skills.
- Certificates, licenses or training: FE license preferred.

Lift/Carry:
Stand, Walk, Sit, Reach Above Shoulder. Push/Pull up to 70 lbs. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs when necessary and perform tasks such as standing, walking, sitting, reaching, twisting, and climbing.
