** Role Overview:
** The In-Process Quality Control Personnel monitor the assembly of coils and ensure that quality   procedures are adhered to during production. This role involves reviewing production areas, conducting   inspections, collaborating with various departments, and developing corrective actions to ensure product   quality.

*** 1. Maintain Work Environment
*** o Ensure a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and  regulations.  o Collaborate with coil shop personnel to maintain the cleanliness of the shop and external  areas.  
*** 2. Document Review and Compliance
*** o Review and understand CSF and other build documents prior to and during equipment  assembly.  o Ensure that manufacturing instructions are followed.  
*** 3. Production Area Monitoring
*** o Review production areas daily and assist various production groups as needed (Fin, Tube,  Build, Expanding, Brazing, etc.).  
*** 4. Quality Inspection
*** o Monitor all coils in production for signs of defect and perform spot checks.  o Conduct detailed inspections, including MPT/FPT gauge tests, go/no-go tests, and  distributor, header, and connection checks.  
*** 5. Tubing and Material Checks
*** o Inspect tubing for physical damage, excess oil, or contaminants, and ensure only  acceptable materials are used.  
*** 6. Spot Checking Quality Lists
*** o Verify ball bearings for expansion, expansion mandrels, and other key quality parameters  in production.  
*** 7. First-Run Criteria
*** o Work with Fin, Tube, and CMS operators to ensure first-run accuracy. Develop training  and troubleshooting materials as needed.  
*** 8. Brazing and Floater Checks
*** o Ensure proper decay tests are performed by Brazing personnel before coils are sent to  test.  o Work with floaters to complete full checks, ensuring dimensions and airflow direction are  correct.  
*** 9. Corrective Actions and Training
*** o Review nonconformance issues, perform corrective actions, and develop training  materials.  o Review rework costs and identify frequent rework issues for correction.  
*** 10. Calibration and Equipment Monitoring
*** o Collaborate with other Quality Control personnel to ensure equipment and tools are  calibrated.  
*** 11. Support for Coil Shop Personnel
*** o Provide coil shop personnel with adequate tools, training, and materials to perform their  job functions.  
*** 12. Grading and KPI Development
*** o Input grades from testers, review results with Production weekly, and develop KPIs for  grading, rework, leak rates, etc.  
*** 13. Continuous Improvement
*** o Participate in teams to improve design and functionality of equipment (PDCA, KATA,  LMS, Continuous Improvement).  
*** 14. Cross-Department Collaboration
*** o Work with departments throughout RAE Corporation to gather and provide information  needed for production and quality assurance.
