Bullying Prevention & Youth Engagement Coordinator VISTA

The WRAP Project, dedicated to Recovery, Assistance, and Prevention, enhances the Oklahoma District 27 area through a thorough revitalization process. This initiative aims to safeguard, improve, and advocate for rural lifestyles, social welfare, cultural engagement, environmental, stewardship, Boys and Girls Clubs, and the preservation of community heritage. This service opportunity is offered through our Wagoner Boys and Girls club.

Member Duties : The Bullying Prevention & Youth Engagement Coordinator VISTA will develop and implement school-wide or community-based bullying prevention programs, often in partnership with school safety committees Stop Bullying.gov.

Train staff, students, and parents on recognizing, reporting, and responding to bullying in all forms (verbal, social, physical, cyber). Plan and organize events, discussions, and educational activities to raise awareness and inspire action. Research and develop information for parents to reinforce anti-bullying messages at home and to identify early signs of bullying
