CLEVELAND AREA HOSPITAL is an independent, self-managed Critical Access Hospital half an hour west of Tulsa, Oklahoma. As the only hospital in Pawnee County, we are constantly striving to provide the highest level of care by continuously growing and updating our services and equipment. Our facilities include a Level IV Trauma Center/ER, Skilled Nursing/Swing Bed program, Respiratory Therapy, C.T., 3D Mammography, a fully equipped Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, 24/7 Lab, and a Primary Care Clinic.

…………. Provides education and evaluation to all staff within and outside the hospital, in other buildings, using evidence‑based research. Collaborates with all medical practitioners and nursing staff to incorporate nursing processes into the plan of care for patients. Complies with the Oklahoma State Department of Health and Centers for Medicaid and Medicare guidelines.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFire Drills, Code Blue Drills, Disaster Drills, etc. This includes planning, oversight, and documentation.
- Registered Nurse: BSN preferred, experience related to duties and responsibilities specified.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS Instructor.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of protocol, procedures, and standards within the area of nursing expertise.
- Ability to provide operational guidance and leadership to staff.
- Knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements.
- Ability to assess educational needs and design and develop responsible curricula.
- Working knowledge of the use of established care models in the development of education programs.
