Full-time 40hrs/week for our Pediatrics Clinic
Provides primary health care in collaboration with physician(s); manages selected cases according to established proto-cols; maintains case histories, medical reports, and other records; prepares treatment plans; orders x-rays and other di-agnostic procedures; writes prescriptions according to protocols; refers acute and chronic care patients; patient education counseling; conducts health assessments utilizing diagnostic tools and laboratory tests.
QUALIFICATIONS:Currently licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure and Supervision.
Demonstrates graduation from an approved school for nurse practitioners.
Experience in a clinic or ambulatory setting preferred.
National certification as Nurse Practitioner.
Licensed under the supervision of an Active Staff physician.
Physically and mentally able to conduct job duties as listed.
Maintains malpractice coverage as defined by the Board of Trustees.
Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.
Able to communicate (written and oral) in English.
Demonstrate adequate vision for evaluating patients.
Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.
Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care.
Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
Possesses fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e.: Administer medications and handle instruments).
Able to work in a latex-burdened environment.
