American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN with at least 1 year of ED experience for a night shift travel assignment requiring an active compact or OK RN license.

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Meditech charting system used, with experience preferred

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact/OK) currently in hand
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Experience managing dysrhythmias
• Proficient in IV therapy and phlebotomy
• Experience with central line care and management
• Knowledge of medication administration including IV vasopressors
• Respiratory skills including BiPAP/CPAP management
• Experience caring for ventilated patients
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE use
• Triage skills required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Provide emergency nursing care including triage, cardiac monitoring, and management of acute and critical patients
• Holiday RTO requests are not guaranteed and must be submitted with the initial application
• Travel pairs are accepted for this position
