About the Role
All Store Team Members play an essential role in building the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. You will provide service and drive sales by engaging with customers and advising them on products. While both part‑time and full‑time positions generally focus on sales responsibilities, you may also be assigned merchandising, front‑end or other responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities- Engage customers, build relationships, and provide personalized service
- Assist with sales, product knowledge, and cross‑sell products
- Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge
- Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs
- Maximize product inventory: process freight, organize and distribute inventory, pull and stock merchandise, build displays and end caps, place signage
- Support digital business operations by fulfilling online orders and assisting with in‑store and curbside pick‑up and delivery services
- Deliver orders safely and professionally, following company policies and procedures, including traffic and safety laws if delivery is required
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and provide a safe, compliant store environment
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store
- Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1–3 years of work experience, 1+ year in a retail setting preferred
- Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8–10 hours a day
- Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly
- May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions
