About the Role
Architectural Services Sales Consultant – Remote (Arkansas), with primary coverage in Oklahoma City, OK;
Little Rock, AR;
Bentonville, AR
. The role promotes Allegion’s professional architectural consulting services centered around Division 08 and Division 28, including specification writing, submittal reviews, and project management.
- High level of project management, including coordination of Division 08 door hardware with Division 28 electronic access control solutions, while ensuring code compliance.
- Develop relationships with industry design professionals to increase demand for Allegion’s brands and architectural services.
- Identify target accounts, create and manage account objectives to drive both short‑term and long‑term growth.
- Lead architectural education including AIA Lunch & Learns, and industry networking events.
- Procure specification writing opportunities from targeted architectural accounts, lead project review meetings, gather relevant documents and define a mutually agreed scope of work.
- Manage each procured specification project through its lifecycle, regularly updating project schedules and stakeholders.
- Identify and track new project opportunities using lead databases and industry relationships.
- Pursue assigned construction leads in a timely manner; request RFAs on projects where Allegion is not currently an approved manufacturer.
- Initiate architectural consulting agreements with firms, formalizing partnership through ACAs to provide earlier coordination and added value.
- Collaborate with the broader sales team on specification projects and during monthly market and project‑tracking review meetings.
- Provide mentorship and development to peers to support team growth.
- Maintain excellent industry and competitor product knowledge by reviewing market data.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline using CRM, entering call reports, tracking projects, and updating critical customer and project details.
- Adapt to marketplace changes and pursue continuing education related to construction industry needs; participate in local events such as AIA, CSI, and DHI.
- Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines, and ensure compliance.
- High School Diploma required;
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - 5+ years business development or technical experience.
- Basic understanding of security systems integrations and electronic components.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills.
- Proficiency with business tools such as Bluebeam, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and CRM.
- Demonstrated experience influencing others with a bias for action.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Architectural, construction, door hardware, or access control experience preferred.
- Candidate must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States; no sponsorship for employment visa status.
- Candidate must reside within the Oklahoma or Arkansas market; preference for those in Greater Oklahoma City, Little Rock, or Bentonville.
