82-26 Police Officer:
The Stillwater Police Department is accepting applications for Police Officers. Candidates must be 21-45 years of age, in good physical condition, have no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, college preferred.
Starting base rate is $60,632.00–$78,894.40 annually (based on experience), plus a comprehensive benefits package including family medical and dental insurance, paid vacation, holiday and sick leave, police pension, college tuition reimbursement and incentive pay.
Schedule:
Patrol Officers work four ten‑hour shifts per week with three days off. Currently, career (non‑supervisory) patrol officers top out at $47.88 per hour.
The Stillwater Police Department is one of the most well‑equipped and trained departments in the country. We support our personnel by providing the latest equipment and technology. The department is housed in a state‑of‑the‑art facility—a four‑story building with underground parking, office space, fitness center, central communications center, detention center, and full classroom training facilities. Department members receive all equipment and uniforms at no cost, including a Glock 17 9mm and a 5.56 carbine.
