Senior Technician, Refrigeration/HVAC - $10,000 SIGN ON

Full-time position. As a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician, you will support and oversee repair within Walmart facilities’ refrigeration and HVAC equipment. You will use commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills with hand, digital, and power tools to complete jobs.

$10,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Starting Salary: $26 per hour

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and appropriate tools.
• Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders and document repair activities for stores and store associates.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines by performing work according to Walmart’s refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

Compensation:

• Individual compensation packages are based on skill set, experience, and other job‑related factors.
• Eligible for bonus incentive.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Journeyman license for Oklahoma.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
