Low Voltage Electrician

Contribute your low-voltage skills to commercial and mission-critical projects at construction sites and facilities that remain operational. Hiring is underway to meet an immediate need, with interviews taking place this week. Electricians who hold a license, apprentices and unlicensed applicants with strong low-voltage field experience are encouraged to apply.

• Install structured cabling, fire alarm equipment, life-safety devices and audiovisual systems.
• Complete terminations, test system performance and troubleshoot low-voltage faults.
• Interpret construction plans and electrical diagrams to guide installation tasks.
• Route cables through conduits and along cable trays.
• Certify installed cabling and document installation work and testing results.
• Maintain an orderly, safe workspace while following OSHA, NEC and NFPA requirements.

• Practical low-voltage installation experience, preferably totaling at least three years.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and electrical drawings, along with proficiency using hand tools and cable certification testers.
• OSHA 10/30 training and BICSI or NICET certifications are advantages, not mandatory qualifications.
• A current driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Capacity to lift loads weighing 50 lbs and perform tasks on ladders and lifts.
• A resume submitted with your application.

Pay: $25 to $40 per hour
