Job TitleConsumer Recovery Specialist
Job DescriptionThe Children’s Recovery Center is seeking an experienced and passionate Consumer Recovery Specialist to join our dedicated team in the Norman area. The role is responsible for conducting groups with consumers on various recovery topics, accurately documenting group activities, performing peer reviews of group notes, and serving as a consistent and positive role model for the consumers under our care.
Compensation- Full‑time position
- Salary: $35,547.20 ($17.09/hr.) plus shift differentials and benefits
- Shift: 8‑hour evening shifts (2:30 pm–11 pm)
- Shift differentials available for evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays
- Must be 21 years of age or older, per DHS requirements
- FLSA Status:
Non‑Exempt
- Associate degree as a Consumer Recovery Specialist OR an equivalent combination of education and experience substituting two years of relevant experience for the required education.
- Upon conditional offer, applicants must submit to a physical examination required by the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, including the ability to lift/carry 65 pounds and push/pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
