Material Handler, Forklift Operator
Responsibilities
Responsible to receive, stock and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within establishments.
Other duties may be assigned.
Transacts material movements in the system (SAP) by issuing to production orders, receiving finished goods against production orders, transferring to other site locations, and moving internally between storage locations.
Performs goods receipts in SAP against purchase requisitions to confirm delivery of goods from outside sources (vendors, Fed Ex, UPS, Land Air, etc.).
Counts, sorts and stores materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to assigned stock locations.
Maintains inventory locator card by physically counting items or conducting cycle counts as required.
Performs housekeeping duties (sweeping, trash/recycling removal, filing, etc.).

Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds only with assistance of material handling equipment or additional people.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of SAP inventory transaction screens.
