Hours: Monday to Friday - 38.75 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Robertson Facilities Management (RFM) provides hard and soft FM services, grounds maintenance and energy services for single and multi-site locations throughout the UK. We work across sectors including education, healthcare, emergency services and commercial, assuring our customers of high-quality, best value and a sustainable approach.
RFM has grown significantly since its inception in 1999, with a turnover of £181m for FY2025 and employs more than 1500 people. We are now on a growth trajectory, with ambitious plans to grow the business to £300m turnover by 2030. Our plans for growth require RFM to 'make the market', and to be at the forefront of high value opportunities in the FM marketplace
Your new roleWhat you’ll do:
- Service and repair of lighting and power distribution systems.
- Reactive repairs to all types of lighting systems and power distribution systems.
- Service and repair of:
- Motors and pumps
- Fan coil units and associated systems
- HVAC control panels
- Competent on BMS control systems.
- Undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the objectives of the Client and with respect for the dignity and privacy of the resident group.
- Operate at all times with safe working practices with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal
- Maintain asset histories, maintenance records and helpdesk reports, informing the administrator or tradespeople of any follow up action that may be required
- Take part in an On-Call rota providing cover to the Facilities.
- Report all accidents and incidents as appropriate
- Provide support and assistance to other RFM personnel on site in the delivery of contracted services.
- Replace Service and repair of Electrical components and parts.
About you:
- Qualified Electrician with experience in installation and maintenance work
- Level 3 NVQ or Diploma in Electrical Installation & Testing (or equivalent)
- Experienced Inspecting and Testing (Desirable)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- AM2 Practical Skills Assessment (Desirable)
- Valid UK Driving licence required
The successful candidate will require a PVG/Disclosure Check before starting in the job.
